Dynagram launches guide to imposition
April 4th 2006
Dynagram has launched today The Bare Truth, a stripped-down guide dedicated entirely to the imposition process. The goal: give printers a practical and vendor-neutral tool to better understand imposition and choose wisely the solutions that correspond to their print production environments.

Dynagram asked specialists Hal Hinderliter, from The Graphic Communication Institute at Cal Poly and consultant Paul Verwilt to provide their thoughts on how printers can separate fact from fiction when it comes to prepress and imposition. Dynagram’s mission: No self-promotion and no obscure techno babble; only neutral helpful information for everyone in the printing industry to actually understand.

The Bare Truth introduces the reader to three different themes. First, Best practices for Digital imposition covers the basics of imposition from the impact of bindery methods to the different press considerations that need to be taken into account. The reader can really see what an efficient use of digital imposition software requires.

Ever asked yourself what to look for in an imposition solution? A second article by Hal Hinderliter uncovers everything that needs to be considered when shopping around for an imposition software. Finally, the guide unveils the truth on the ‘’Big green-button workflow’’ in the article Deep-rooted myths on the printing industry. How far have we come when we look back 10 years ago and where will the printing industry be in 10 years? Prepress specialist Paul Verwilt tells it all.

Curious to discover the answers to these crucial questions? Come and meet with Dynagram’s team at booth #06-A12 in Hall 7 to get your own copy or ask for this new issue hot from the presses at marketing@dynagram.com. Have a good reading!
