Dynagram, the leader in innovative imposition technologies, today announced an OEM distribution agreement with Lucid Dream Software, Inc., an innovator in early prepress workflows and trapping technology, for Dynagram’s inpO2™ imposition products. Under this agreement, Lucid Dream Software will offer the inpO2 imposition product family along with its TaskForce™ RIP and workflow system.
The TaskForce Workflow is a solution that includes online job submission, ripping, trapping, proofing and now imposition with inpO2. inpO2 ATOM and inpO2 Standard, which are based on the industry standard Adobe® Acrobat® 8.0, will be bundled with some configurations and offered as an option with others.
“We’re excited about adding inpO2 to our TaskForce solutions,” said David Lewis, CEO of Lucid Dream Software. “inpO2 fits perfectly within our PDF based workflow providing customers a scalable and powerful imposition solution to meet just about any production need” continues Mr. Lewis.
As one of many ways to use TaskForce workflow, customers can print from any postscript application to the TaskForce RIP and produce a trapped PDF that can be imposed in inpO2. This provides a high-level of flexibility and ease when printing, yet allows customers control over their impositions within inpO2. Imposed PDF’s from inpO2 can be submitted back to the TaskForce workflow and printed to a variety of supported devices and formats.

inpO2 Standard Edition and inpO2 ATOM will be available immediately directly from Lucid Dream Software as part of their TaskForce Workflow solution including their entry level solution "TaskForce Lite™" for Kimoto Technology Inc., and the Kimotosetter™. All inpO2 editions are available for the Macintosh and Windows platforms and are compatible with Acrobat 8.0.
Both companies will be exhibiting at DRUPA Exposition in Düsseldorf, Germany from May 29th to June 11th. Lucid Dream Software will be showing the TaskForce Workflow in the Kimoto Booth found in Hall 4, booth number A41 and Dynagram can be found in the Canadian Pavilion, Hall 9, booth E61, and in the JDF Experience Parc, Hall 7, booth 7.0J, as well as in many partner’s stands.
