Dynagram updates INposition imposition software for QuarkXpress 8.0

In tune with the needs of QuarkXPress users, Dynagram, the industry leader in imposition solutions, announced today the release of INposition 8.0, its QuarkXPress XTension, for the professional commercial printing market.

CIP4 and PIA⁄GATF confirm Dynagram's inpO2 imposition software as JDF-certified

Quebec, Canada, May 27 2008: Dynagram, the provider of the widest range of imposition solutions, announced today that the International Cooperation for the Integration of the Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress (CIP4) organization and Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF) have officially approved inpO2 version 3.0 as being CIP4-certified.

This certification attests to the interoperability of inpO2 with other JDF-enabled consumers of imposition layouts, such as RIPs and prepress workflows. This means that the JDF imposition file produced by inpO2 can be seamlessly used by components of the workflow that are based on the JDF technology. inpO2 has been specifically tested for conformance to the “Layout Creator to Imposition’’ ICS document, using JDF version 1.3.

DynaStrip and Hiflex system connect to MIS with JDF 1.2 Stripping

Dynagram, the industry leader in imposition solutions, and Hiflex, the market leading MIS for print and media, announced today upstream connectivity between the DynaStrip solution suite and Hiflex system for the first time!

DynaStrip imports JDF files generated by the MIS or estimation software and initiates the creation of imposition layouts. DynaStrip’s JDF import pre-interface extracts JDF 1.2 Stripping parameters found in the file and ensures that all extracted job parameters are isolated from the application or user defaults. The resulting imposition can be outputted in any format, including PDF and JDF.

DynaStrip contributes to strengthen Artwork Systems' position in the commercial and publishing markets with the Odystar 2.5

When Artwork Systems launched Odystar early in 2004 it brought to the market a completely new approach to automating the digital pre-press environment. Dynagram revamps its image: A bold look that celebrates the trade

On Print 05 opening day, Dynagram, the market leader in imposition solutions, launched a brand new image which translates the developer’s bold vision and vigorous spirit: “It was time to show the character that makes Dynagram what it is”, says Tracey Lee Batsford, General Manager of Dynagram’s Prepress Solutions.
